How to use the keyboard less on Blackberry

The conventional Blackberry has been made in such a way that it I fitted with a keyboard to help in case you wish to do any typing or even browsing. There is a new one that does not have a keyboard. However, for people who wish to stick with the old design, there are shortcuts to help them make their work a lot more easier. Technology has made it possible for you to type in full just as if you were using the typing provision. As they say time is money and you will need to spend yours with wisdom; the following are shortcuts to help you save on time.

1. How to put a full stop.

For you to be able to type a full stop, click space two times at the end of every sentence you type.

2. Getting capital letters.

Grammar demands that you start every sentence with a capital letter. In normal circumstances you will need to click cap lock for you to get them. If you want a faster job to be done, press space two times at the end of each sentence and you will automatically get a capital letter to begin the next one.

3. Typing apostrophes.

If for instance you want to type the word I’m or isn’t what you will do is just type either im or isnt without the apostrophe and the system will correct it for you. In other words it will write the words correctly for you.

4. Turning off caps lock or numbers.

During typing, there are times you will need to use capital letters and others you may need to use small ones. To turn off caps lock, press shift.

5. Insert @ as you write your mails.

In the event that you wish to write an email and would wish to enter @, press space.

6. Refresh a page while browsing.

If you wish to refresh a current page as you browse, what you will need to do is press R.

7. Stop searching for a website.

If you start to load a web page and change your mind midstream, just escape.
